About Saasha

I’m Saasha, an English Literature undergraduate at Jamia Millia Islamia with a minor in Psychology, graduating this year. I’m also comfortable working in Urdu, Hindi, and beginner-level French (A1).

Teaching feels natural to me, I’ve grown up around it, with my mother as an English professor, and I’m now working towards becoming the second generation of educators in my family.

Alongside this, I’m an aspiring writer, which keeps me closely connected to language in both academic and creative ways. This shapes how I teach, thoughtful and attentive to how each learner understands and expresses themselves.

My biggest priority is to teach with empathy and help learners work towards their goals.

About the lesson

I provide structured, personalized English mentoring focused on reading, writing, speaking, and grammar. The sessions remain patient, non-judgmental, and LGBTQIA+ affirming, allowing consistent, pressure-free learning. Anyone looking to learn English for conversations, school, test-prep, and more is accepted here.

My life was changed because of an English teacher who helped me realize what my passion was, I hope to do the same for you.

And so, each session is calibrated to the learner’s level, academic demands, and specific gaps. The aim is precision in understanding and control in application.

Classes are organized around core skill-building:

- A short test to identify current standing
- Reading for comprehension and analytical clarity
- Writing for coherence, structure, and expression
- Grammar taught as functional patterns with examples
- Vocabulary that is developed through context and active usage
- Speaking practice every day to refine articulation and confidence

The assignments are application-driven. And all concepts are tested through guided exercises and feedback, ensuring retention and independent use.

I monitor progress continuously, with adjustments to maintain steady, disciplined improvement aligned with the learner’s pace.
