About RUSHIKA
Hi, I'm Rushika! I'm a 3rd-year BA student specializing in English Literature, Economics, and Psychology. I hold certifications in Content Writing and Creative Writing, and studied popular literature as an elective. I've mentored underprivileged students at an NGO for one year and counting to master reading, literacy, and creative writing with zero judgment and real results.

Hi, I'm Rushika– Your fun, non-judgy English Tutor who actually gets it! I teach English the way I wish it were taught to me: no boring lectures, no shame, just real learning that actually sticks.
My Teaching Approach
I don't lecture, I coach. Here's how:
- Conversational Learning: We talk like humans, not robots. If you're confused, you ask. No “that's obvious” energy
- Real World Examples: I use pop culture, memes, and stuff you actually read (yes, even fanfiction counts) to explain literacy concepts.
- Writing: You don't learn creative writing by reading about it. You write, I give feedback, we improve together
- Reading Aloud + Breaking Down: We read passages together, and I show you how to spot patterns, themes, and hidden meanings.
What a Typical Class Looks Like (45–60 mins):
5 mins — Quick chat: What's stressing you out? What do you want to focus on today?
15 mins — Reading/Literacy deep dive: I pick a passage (or you bring one), we read it together, I teach you how to analyze it without crying.
20 mins — Creative Writing Practice: You write something (short paragraph, poem, story starter), and I give immediate feedback.
10 mins — Q&A + Homework (optional): I give you a tiny, doable writing/reading task to keep the momentum going.
Who this class is for: School students (grades 5 to 12) and Non-native English speakers.
