About Alaa

I have 2 and a half years of tutoring experience. I first began as a English tutor in Morocco, where I would practice spelling/reading with a group of primary school children. I was a nanny for 2 years, where I would do lots of homework help, spelling and reading. My main expertise is with primary school students and GCSE Humanities and English

About the lesson

As a student myself I can appreciate that their isn’t a tailor made approach for every single student. My approach to tutoring, is to understand the child’s needs first and then aid them. Whether this being practice questions, diagrams or turning things into games I can appreciate every child is different. I am extremely patient, which I think is an extremely important trait for a tutor, as I can appreciate not every child will comprehend something quickly. Lastly and most importantly, i am extremely nurturing, as someone with childcare experience it is important for me to form a strong relationship with the child.

Her teaching style is very clear and concise providing notes that are well -written . She also helps to identify your weak areas to work upon to ensure that you make progress. I would definitely recommend her as a tutor as she is very patient and ensures that you have a thorough understanding of the topics.
