About Hamda
I'm a native English speaker, having been born and raised in London and I'm currently undertaking an English literature degree.
I currently tutor GCSE/A Level students covering different periods of literature i.e. Shakespeare, Chaucer as well as working towards achieving top grades
I also have experience teaching English to non-native speakers, working on: conversational techniques, grammar, vocabulary etc.

My aim as a teacher is to assist, encourage and support students to achieve their learning goals
As a student myself, I can respect that learning isn't always easy or stress-free! I try to make it as fun and
engaging as possible, taking whatever pace the student feels comfortable.
I take a varied teaching method depending on the goal. If the aim is to achieve a natural fluency of the English language, you can expect a strong emphasis on the conversational aspect.
If you want to perfect grammar, then we can take a content-focused method with writing and speech tasks.
As every student has different learning needs, I offer a mix of teacher-centred and learner centred methods, all with an interactive approach. This ensures every student leaves class more confident than when they came in.
For high level students, we can begin to take a look at English writers and study some literary pieces. We can have a look at things like poetry if the student wants to further develop their ability.
