About Migal

My name is Migal, and I’m an English tutor based in Umzinto, KwaZulu-Natal.

English has always been more than just a subject to me — it’s a passion. I love how language connects people, opens doors to new opportunities, and gives us the confidence to express who we really are. That’s why I studied English in depth: to understand not only the grammar and rules, but the rhythm, culture, and real-world use of the language.

Over time, that passion grew into a purpose: teaching. I’m interested in teaching because I’ve seen how powerful it is when someone finally understands something they’ve struggled with. There’s nothing better than watching a student go from “I’m not sure” to “I’ve got this.” I believe learning English should feel empowering, not intimidating.

As a tutor, I bring patience, clarity, and real-life relevance to every lesson. My goal is to help you speak and write English confidently — whether that’s for work, study, travel, or everyday conversation. I tailor each class to your needs, explain concepts in a way that makes sense, and create a space where you can practice without fear of mistakes.

About the lesson

*Hey, I’m Migal Let’s make English feel easy.*

I know what it’s like to stare at grammar rules and feel stuck. Or to _know_ what you want to say, but the words just don’t come out right. I’ve been there with my own students — and that’s exactly why I teach the way I do.

*I keep it real.*
We won’t just do boring worksheets. We’ll talk about stuff you actually care about — your job, your hobbies, that Netflix show you’re watching. I’ll explain things in plain language, fix your mistakes without making it awkward, and give you tricks that actually stick.

*I get it because I listen.*
Every student is different. Nervous to speak? We’ll go slow and build you up. Need English for work? We’ll practice the exact emails and interviews you’ll face. I pay attention to what _you_ need, and I adjust every lesson so it makes sense for you.

*I’m patient. Like, really patient.*
You can ask me the same question three times. You can mess up a sentence and laugh about it. My class is a safe space to try, fail, and try again — because that’s how you get fluent. I’ll hype you up when you get it right, and I won’t let you feel dumb when you get it wrong.

*I want you to win.*
There’s no better feeling than a student telling me, “I used English at work today” or “I understood a whole movie without subtitles.” That’s what I’m here for. I’ll show up prepared, I’ll remember what we worked on last time, and I’ll be in your corner the whole way.
