About Janine
I have a passion for traveling, children, teaching and animals. I traveled extensively through Africa and Asia and had to make extra money for my travels by teaching English. I fell in love with teaching and have been teaching since. More than 20 years. I have a wide knowledge of various topics and subjects and can make great conversations about most things. I also have a special way of teaching reading and writing using toys, books, movement and other engaging resources to make learning fun and interesting.

I am a Montessori Directress and have been teaching children aged 3-7 years for more than 20 years. Many of the children I have taught and currently teach do not speak English. I specialize in reading, writing and speaking English, using fun and engaging materials such as Letterland, music and stories, movement and online games.
I am also an English Language Tutor and teach adults to read, write and speak English. I taught in Thailand for 2 years and currently teach adults to read, write and speak using exercise books that are easy to understand and work from.
I have an easy-going and fun manner and will make you or your child feel relaxed and comfortable and eager to learn.
