About Sérgio

Of the 4 skills to be developed (listening, speaking, reading and writing), the main focus is on listening and speaking, because they are the skills that are most necessary for you to communicate and make yourself understood clearly and effectively, they are the skills you will use in most situations, whether at work or travelling. This focus goes with the natural way we began learning to speak in our mother tongue, because we did not start by reading or writing when we were children, but by listening and repeating what we heard around us.

About the lesson

I am an English teacher with extensive experience in teaching the language. I started learning English from the age of 6 and had the opportunity to develop and improve English through jobs that required advanced English and its constant use as well as various experiences abroad, namely in the United States. I have taught in different schools and have had contact with various teaching methods, which allow me to have a vast knowledge about the language and also allows me to understand what different approaches to apply so that the student learns effectively and can reach their goals,
