About Chance
I am an English student currently working part time as a Starbucks barista. I love creative writing and have a knack for grammar. I’ve had a short story published and hope to have a career in writing, including teaching it. I grew up in a big family as the oldest of six and have lots of experience connecting with people of all ages!

I believe to learn, one must have a passionate teacher. My goal is to approach every lesson with engagement and enthusiasm so that my students can actually interact with the knowledge I’m presenting them with. Every person learns differently and I try to work with each student as an individual with their own learning needs. I like to teach in a casual setting as it eases tension and nervousness towards learning, and I feel it encourages students to experiment with new knowledge with greater confidence.
