About Evelyn

I’m Eve, an experienced English and Literature teacher with a background in Reading education and learning support. I have taught students from elementary through senior high school with different levels, abilities, and learning needs.

When you work with me, you won’t be expected to learn in exactly the same way as everyone else. I believe your strengths, challenges, interests, and learning style should be considered when planning your lessons.

You can expect a patient, encouraging, and structured approach. You’ll have a safe space to ask questions, make mistakes, and practice using English while being guided to improve.

If you want to strengthen your English foundations, improve your school performance, become more confident speaking English, or develop stronger reading and comprehension skills, I’ll help you work toward your goals according to your own pacing.

About the lesson

Your English lessons should be designed around you—not around a one-size-fits-all program.

You may want to improve your speaking, reading, comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, writing, pronunciation, or overall confidence in English. Your lessons will be tailored to your current level, needs, and goals.

I’ll first take time to understand what you already know and identify the areas where you need the most support. From there, we’ll work through focused lessons using clear instruction, guided practice, conversation, reading activities, and practical application. As you become more confident, you’ll gradually take more responsibility for using the skills on your own.

For younger learners, I use age-appropriate stories, discussions, games, and multisensory activities when appropriate. Older learners can focus more on academic English, reading comprehension, writing, speaking, and communication.

What makes my approach different is that I don’t simply give you more exercises when something is difficult. I pay attention to why you’re having difficulty. By looking at how you read, respond, communicate, and work through language tasks, I can adjust the lesson to address what you actually need.

You can use our lessons to strengthen your English foundations, improve your school performance, build confidence in communication, or advance your existing skills. My goal is to make every lesson purposeful, structured, and suited to you.
