About Anastasia
I have been tutoring students English from University level to beginners level for 6 years, in Melbourne Australia, face to face or via video calls. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics, Applied Linguistics and Russian from the University of Melbourne, and 2 TESOL teaching certificates. I have many years experience working with students to improve their English grammar, speech (pronunciation and accent reduction), writing, listening and reading, as well as speech writing for business and study purposes, presentations and Business English. Having a degree in linguistics, I understand speech, sound and pronunciation, understanding how important it is for an individual to deliver their words at their best!

Hello ! Nice to meet you (virtually)! My name is Anastasia, with over 6 years experience teaching English to students from beginners to advanced learners. I love seeing students happy and achieving their English goals, as well as building their confidence with English -socially, with their studies or in business.
I am a positive, patient, and kind teacher who believes learning with a smile. I enjoy discussing topics that are of interest to the students making each lesson enjoyable and something to look forward to.
A range of activities and materials can be used, however seeing which method suits each student is key to their success.
I like to have an initial lesson and then make a plan tailored to that student so that we can work on each focused skill. I focus on building confidence and feeling comfortable so you can travel, do business, make new friends and communicate with other English speakers with ease!
