About Brandon
I have been teaching English as a first and second language for nearly three years and have worked as a learnt to swim and generic facilitator for close to five years. Over the course of the last couple of years i have had close to two hundred learners coming from public schools and private language academies such as Dada ABC and Cambly Inc. In 2016 i taught English at Alphendale High School, the top three English students from both the grades i taught came from my classes.

Im friendly, goal orientated and patient, i try to accommodate all students with different learning styles and backgrounds by being sensitive to their cultures, assessing my students and adapting my teaching style to suit the students needs. The typical structure of my lessons are, an introduction warmer were i would teach a students how to introduce themselves and also introduce the lesson that is going to be conducted. Thereafter a brief presentation of what we are going to learn for the lesson and then practice sessions. I conclude my lesson with a short overview or conclusion of what was learnt for the day. I believe that helping someone achieve their goal with learning is as important as receiving incentives for teaching. Also that language learning should be seen as a process and not as an event. Even with quick results, it takes time and practice.
