About Rodrigo
I am a retired Civil Engineer. Apprentice, traveler through the paths of the web, books, videos, music. An average Joe as some Anglophones would say (Anglophone is someone who speaks English), or an average Afghan as Emílio Zurita do Panico would say.
I've already spent a year in Melbourne, Australia, I met English, Irish, German, Taiwanese... I had engineering classes at college with Australians, Iranians, a big-head from the English countryside with a really crazy accent.
English is just one language humans use in this 2020s to communicate with people all over the world. It's a wild card in the language deck. There are Russians, Indians, Chinese, Colombians, Brazilians, Italians, French, Americans, Mexicans, Cubans each with their own accent and cultural background communicating in this cute language called English.

We teach what needs to be learned at the time. Being clear that the learning of any theme or subject is continuous, infinite, made of constructions and reforms in the meaning of things. There is always something new to learn. We are not in a hurry, the journey is endless.
So if you need to refine something in listening to be able to watch videos on the internet or pass an IELTS or TOEFL certificate we can work on it. If you are starting and not sure where to start, welcome, leave a message and we can go slow or fast, gathering knowledge and building your understanding of this fascinating language.
Remember that learning is both active and passive. You need to get to know more about the subject, but you also need to give your brain time to assimilate all the news that you are presenting to it. Patience and discipline. It's similar to maintaining a decent physique, you need to eat and exercise decently constantly so that your body gets the way you want it.
