About Keighley
I am a college student taking a gap year during the health crisis, I have always excelled in English in school and have provided help to peers for most of my academic career. I have been a tutor for at least 5 years now, I work with all ages and can adapt to any learning style. I work over Zoom for convenience, I do require Zoom or another form of video chat to be certain that I may teach my student to the best of my ability. In regards to working with children, I have had previous experience as a nanny and tutor for children as young as 7. I do understand there may be an issue with affordability so we can discuss an amended price if necessary, however I do appreciate consideration for the amount of work I put into tutoring, I pride myself in going above and beyond when I am able to.

My Lessons are tailored specifically to my student's needs. I work over Zoom or FaceTime, both for convenience and comfort for both teacher and student. For younger students I would appreciate a parent present for at least a few minutes in the beginning to go over what they need specifically from my lessons, and at the end to discuss how they can help them at home. For reading help I may assign readings to help. Typically for essays I tend to get more involved than most, I do like to have a google doc that we can share so I can have both of us work on it and have it in front of us. This helps with collaboration and makes it far easier to help with any issues so we may speak over zoom and collaborate the same time. Any specifics to what a student needs we can discuss further.
