About Izzy
I’ve always loved working with children, which is what led me to study Education at university. I’ve now graduated with a First-Class degree and have spent the last few years working with children of different ages and abilities.
My experience working with children has shown me that every child learns differently and I love finding creative ways to make learning enjoyable and accessible.
Outside of teaching, I love travelling, being creative and spending time outdoors. I’m looking forward to getting to know my students, learning about their interests and hopefully making learning something they genuinely enjoy!

I offer friendly, supportive 1-to-1 online English and maths lessons for children aged approximately 4-12, with lessons adapted to each child’s individual level, interests and learning style.
I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable, supported and involved in their learning. I like to get to know each child and understand what they find easy, what they find challenging and what interests them, then adapt lessons around this.
For younger learners, I use games, stories, pictures, quizzes and interactive activities to keep lessons engaging and make learning feel less like extra schoolwork. For older children, lessons can be more focused on schoolwork, homework, grammar, reading, writing, conversation or specific areas they would like to improve.
For English, I can support conversation, vocabulary, reading, writing, pronunciation, grammar and confidence using English, whether your child is a beginner or already has a good understanding of English.
I also have experience supporting children with a range of different learning needs, which has taught me the importance of patience, flexibility and adapting activities to the individual child.
Lessons are typically 45–60 minutes, depending on the child’s age, concentration and individual needs. I’m happy to discuss the most suitable lesson length for your child.
