About Osayemwen

Hello! My name is Shalom, and I am a passionate and patient teacher who enjoys helping children learn, grow, and become more confident in their abilities.

I have experience teaching primary school students and understand that every child learns differently. Some students may need concepts explained in a simpler way, while others may need more practice, encouragement, or someone to patiently guide them through their mistakes. I enjoy creating a friendly learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing what they do and don't understand.

I want to teach because I believe education is about more than getting good grades. It is about helping children develop confidence, curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a genuine understanding of what they are learning.

I especially enjoy working with younger learners and helping them build strong foundations in subjects like English. Seeing a student go from saying "I don't understand" to confidently solving a problem is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching for me.

I look forward to meeting new students, learning about their individual needs, and helping them make steady progress one lesson at a time!

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to be engaging, interactive, and tailored to each student's individual needs. I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and are encouraged to learn at their own pace.

Before beginning, I will identify the areas where the student needs the most support. Each lesson will then focus on building their understanding step by step, rather than just memorizing answers.

Depending on the subject and the student's needs, a typical lesson may include:

• A quick review of previous work
• Introduction or explanation of the day's topic
• Simple examples and guided practice
• Questions and activities to check understanding
• Exercises for the student to complete independently
• A short recap at the end of the lesson

Lessons can include reading, grammar, vocabulary, spelling, writing, comprehension, and pronunciation.

I also provide homework support and can help students prepare for tests and examinations.

My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them become more confident, independent, and enthusiastic learners.
