About Giselle
I hold a Master of Arts in English Studies, where I developed a deep appreciation for language, literature, and effective communication. Over 8 years of teaching experience, I have worked with learners from diverse backgrounds, supporting them as they strengthen both technical accuracy and expressive confidence. My academic background allows me to balance structured instruction with creative exploration. My teaching philosophy is grounded in patience, empathy, and clarity. I believe learners thrive when they feel supported and understood, so I adapt explanations and activities to individual learning styles. I emphasize understanding ideas and meaning rather than memorizing rules, which helps students develop long-lasting language skills. My English lessons focus on helping learners communicate clearly and confidently across academic, professional, and everyday settings. I guide students through grammar refinement, vocabulary expansion, reading comprehension, and structured speaking using practical and engaging activities. Lessons often include short texts, guided discussions, storytelling, and real-life scenarios that make language use feel meaningful and approachable rather than abstract or intimidating.
Each lesson is shaped around the learner’s level and personal goals. Beginners build strong foundations in sentence structure, pronunciation, and daily conversation. Intermediate learners focus on fluency, paragraph writing, and confident discussion skills. Advanced students work on critical reading, persuasive writing, and nuanced expression. I provide calm guidance and thoughtful feedback so learners can progress steadily and comfortably.
Learning English also supports personal growth and self-assurance. As learners become more fluent, they often feel more confident sharing ideas, asking questions, and participating actively in new environments. Many experience stronger critical thinking and clearer self-expression. My goal is to help learners feel empowered by language, enjoy the learning process, and confidently use English as a tool for connection and opportunity.
