About Amelia
I’m an English tutor with over 3 years of teaching experience and a PhD in Postcolonial English Literature. Alongside literary analysis, I specialize in teaching English for scientific writing and technical documentation. My students include engineers, researchers, and professionals who need to express complex ideas with clarity and precision. I help learners organize their thoughts through structured report writing and clear formatting. My English lessons are designed to be fun, friendly, and full of energy. I believe that learning a language should feel like an adventure, not a chore. That’s why I use storytelling, grammar games, and repetition-based exercises to keep students engaged.
We use visual aids to make tough concepts simple and easy to remember. I often include creative activities like picture-based speaking tasks or fill-in-the-blank stories. These not only improve vocabulary and grammar but also boost confidence in communication.
For students who are new to English or learning it for fun, I create a warm and welcoming space. I break down complex ideas into small, manageable steps. I’m patient and always ready to review as many times as needed.
