About Mali

I am a recent high school graduate with a passion for English, literature, creative writing and exploring nuanced ways of thinking. Having achieved a Certificate of Excellence and Certificate of Distinction in the 2025 WACE, I have developed a strong understanding of both the ATAR syllabus and the skills required to perform at a high level. I am passionate about using my knowledge and experience to help students strengthen and refine their own abilities.

From personal experience, I understand how stressful and, at times, discouraging exam periods and school life can feel. However, I also know how rewarding and motivating it is to develop real confidence in your writing — when you move beyond memorizing terminology and begin engaging deeply with ideas, arguments and expression.

I firmly believe that every student has the capacity to improve in English. Success in this subject is not about rote learning; it is about developing clarity of thought, confidence in analysis and the ability to express your individuality through both creative and critical writing. My aim is to create a supportive, structured learning environment where students feel capable, challenged and proud of their progress.

About the lesson

I develop students’ English skills through the practical application of syllabus content, critical terminology and core analytical skills. Through structured practice writing and guided text analysis, I help students refine their expression while encouraging them to cultivate their own distinctive creative voice and confident critical thinking.

My lessons are usually 45 minutes to an hour but are flexible depending on individual students' needs.

I have tutored for 2 years, received a SCSA Certificate of Excellence for ATAR English in 2025 WACE and am very familiar with the syllabus and effective Exam techniques.

My lessons are for any lower high-school or ATAR English student looking to improve their grades and gain strong English skills. Skill level does not matter.
