About Teresa
I have taught English for many years now. Learning and assimilating information differs for us all. We are all given unique ways of absorbing information and our world around us; for example learning by communicating and sharing stories, oral language, or kinesthetically by doing and or auditory and for some more pictorially. I see, I hear I experience my world then I learn and assimilate my world around me. This is the art of the teacher to assess your strengths and your unique learning modality. Are you a listener, a doer, or do you prefer to view and experience your world around you before you can feel passionate about writing and learning literacy? I love to learn and feel many students today have lost their passion towards education especially reading and writing. Discovering the wide world of language and in a form that starts with your unique interests is where I start from. I will take you on a journey that may require you to observe your world so you can report back your words, your thoughts and expressions to describe your unique experiences. Let's write! Let's read! Let us understand our world!
