About Ruby

My teaching approach focuses on making English clear, practical, and useful for real life. I believe grammar clarity is the foundation of strong English skills. We work together on building spoken fluency through regular conversation practice and simple exercises. Confidence building is key—I encourage you to speak and write without fear of mistakes. Clear writing is another important part of my lessons. I help you organize your ideas so your writing is easy to understand. My methodology emphasizes consistent practice and practical application. This means you’ll use English every day in ways that matter to you. I’m experienced in helping students prepare for exams with focused strategies and useful tips. I also support newcomers adjusting to a new language and culture, making learning smooth and encouraging. You’ll get clear guidance and patient support throughout your journey.

About the lesson

I’m an English tutor with over 7 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science in Professional Communication, with a focus on English. I have a deep passion for analytical reading and philosophical debate. I love helping students explore challenging texts that push their thinking. My specialty is guiding learners through argumentative essay writing, where clarity and nuance matter most.

Together, we work on sharpening your critical thinking and logical reasoning skills. I enjoy presenting ethical dilemmas that encourage you to see multiple perspectives. This approach helps you express complex ideas clearly and confidently. I primarily support university students, debate teams, and aspiring academics.

My goal is to help you not only understand texts but also engage with them on a deeper level. I believe strong reasoning and eloquent expression are essential tools for success in any field. We’ll work through difficult concepts and build your confidence step by step.
