About Jana
My name is Jana Barakat. I have been teaching Arabic for 34 years (8 years abroad and 26 years in the UAE). I’m passionate about helping students build confidence and joy in learning Arabic. I believe learning Arabic opens the door to understanding culture, communication, and having the chance to have a better job. In my lessons, I focus on clear explanations, patience, and interactive practices. I love hearing my students speak the Modern Standard Arabic and seeing them grow and feel proud of their progress.

My goal is to help learners not only master speaking, reading, and writing, but also feel inspired by the richness of the Arabic language.
