About Kanav

I am Kanav Gupta a first year computer science student at Manchester University. I have just finished my A-levels and acheived A* in Maths, Further Maths, and Chemistry, and an A in Economics. I have a great passion for maths have taken part in maths challenges such as the SMC where i got a gold and qualified for the BMO.

My motivation for teaching is simple, in my school I saw how in classes of 30-35 teachers simply didnt have the time to provide the exact support and guidance needed that fit a students exact needs. A lot of the students I mentored of differing abilities seemed to be struggling to reach their maximal potential due to their teachers lessons not meeting their unique learning styles. I believe I can provide the support needed to students to achieve the best they can.

About the lesson

Hi, I am happy to tutor students for GCSE maths and further maths and A-level maths students. I will be providing these lessons online.

Qualifications:
A-levels : A* Maths, A* Further Maths, A* Chemistry, A economics
GCSE: Grade 9 in all subjects

I have had tutoring experience in my school where I organised and taught GCSE Further Maths to about 30, year 10 students and I also mentored A-level Maths students and GCSE Chemistry students in school providing one-to-one support to students of all abilities who needed help getting the grades they needed.

The lessons will be tailored to be exactly what you need, I will provide support from mastering basics to support to tackle the challenging questions we see at the end of the paper. My lessons will involve me explaining the concept in detail and allowing you to clarify doubts,working through practice questions to let you practice the questions but also allow you to learn tricks and techniques helpful for the exam, working through extension questions to prepare you for anything the exam throws at you
