About Owain
I study Japanese and Spanish at university and am going into final year. I love traveling and meeting people and have teaching experience. I've taught English in both Spanish and Japanese, including at an English school in Japan as a part time job during my studies. I am happy to teach advanced English and also basic Spanish and Japanese!

I like to get down to details on grammar but I understand the importance of making learning fun. I tend to use similar tasks across lessons to consolidate learning and I value sounding natural as well as speaking correctly. Lessons would start with a short recap of the previous session to ensure that learning is retained. I would then approach the topic for the lesson with a fun task or game to gain the base knowledge of the subject. After this would be a more in depth look at the grammar or vocabulary with description and a chance for discussion and questions. And finally another task or game to revise the topic and prepare the student for the homework (which would be expected to be completed by the next session).
