About Caitlin
My name is Caitlin, and I am a 21-year-old student currently studying at University of West London. I have always been passionate about maths; it's a subject where I always excelled, and at school I wished more students felt the same joy for it as I did. Where they saw endless numbers and complicated formulas, I saw patterns, codes and puzzles to be solved. Maths genuinely excites me, and that's why I decided to become a tutor, so that I can aim to pass on some of that excitement to new students who might just discover a real love for this subject, alongside improving their skills.

I passed my GCSEs in 2016, achieving A*s in both Mathematics and Further Maths. Since then, I have gained two years of experience in 1-2-1 Maths tutoring at secondary school level, as well as many years of experience teaching children of all ages, both privately and in large groups.
My lessons are online for students in Years 7, 8, and 9, and last one hour, though I can be flexible about lesson length if requested.
My methods of teaching Maths are logical and direct, which ensures they are easy to follow, though I am always able to adapt my teaching style to fit the student. I understand that every student learns differently and am always open to trying multiple approaches.
