About Gabrielle
My name is Gabby and I want to help you improve in biology or mathematics to feel more confident to tackle tricky exam questions. I have always loved to learn and want to inspire that in other people by showing them that learning does not have to be scary, and can be fun given the appropriate space and support to make mistakes and learn from them. I have recently finished university studying Biochemistry, a challenging but mentally stimulating and exciting course. I want to provide an environment where a student can progress at their own pace and feel the rewards of their hard work. I am an approachable and understanding person with a lot of enthusiasm for what I love. I enjoy teaching and have experience tutoring my younger sister for her maths and science GCSE's and seeing her understand tricky concepts has been extremely rewarding.

I like to employ a variety of past paper questions to make students feel equipped with the tools to answer similar questions in an exam. I take a structured approach to learning and encourage collaboration and questions. Initially, I would assess the pupils understanding of different areas in order to identify points for improvement in the lessons. From this I would plan interactive lessons based around the students needs. A typical length of a lesson would be 50 minutes and would be aimed at GCSE level content. I have some experience tutoring GCSE maths and A-level Chemistry and thoroughly enjoy making learning fun and rewarding for pupils in order to boost their confidence in a given area.
