About Jodie
I am originally from London where I studied History, English and Drama A Levels.
I went on to study ‘Film, Theatre and Television’ at the University of Reading, where I received first class honours for my undergraduate dissertation.
I was a private nanny/tutor for 8 months while in London.

I can teach pupils age 8-16. My methods vary pupil to pupil as I encourage them to let me know how they learn best. That being said I like to use visual learning methods such as mind mapping and flash cards.
I also encourage students to try and teach what they have learnt back to me (I believe to be able to understand something fully you need to be able to explain it to someone else!)
I aim to make my tutoring lessons engaging. I want a pupil to go away feeling as though they have a genuine interest or new found love for the subject.
