About Anniela

I am a Qualified Secondary Mathematics Teacher. I've previously achieved my Master's in Civil Engineering at a prestigious university in the United Kingdom, achieving a first class degree. I have had past experience in teaching young adults Maths and English in a professional manner and also I have volunteered to teach children at GCSE level Mathematics in a more comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. I am a passionate tutor who uses my youthfulness as a way to make Maths more fun and to create a positive learning environment. I take the time to analyse the best way in which my students learn and help them to enhance their confidence in Maths and create a positive mentality in the subject area. Therefore, if you want a positive mentality about Maths and a boost in confidence and grades, I am the one for you.

About the lesson

For most of my students, the lessons usually start with covering the basics and working our way up to the harder topics. This ensures that the student has a good foundation to prepare them for the harder topics. Alternatively, some students already have a good understanding of most topics and need support on specific topics (Surds, Circle Theorem, Algebraic Fractions, etc.) or specific types of questions (problem solving). Therefore, we focus on those problem areas instead. Noting, no 2 students are the same or learn at the same pace, so it is very important that I regularly review my teaching methods to ensure my students are getting the best out of their sessions.
