About Issie
I am an enthusiastic and understanding tutor with a passion for teaching pupils about the subjects that I love!
Having achieved all Grade 9s (above A*s) in GCSE Chemistry, Biology and Physics, I have excellent knowledge of the AQA GCSE exam board specification - a vital component to GCSE exam success - but this knowledge also allows me to have a deep understanding of how best to approach teaching younger pupils beneath GCSE level too.
I aspire to turn academic anxiety into scientific confidence within pupils, providing support and exam strategies tailored to each student’s need.

I’m here to teach engaging lessons in science and GCSE Chemistry and Biology.
By personalising lessons in advance, my visual learning approach allows students to target the areas they need help with most, aiming for optimum success whilst also creating a patient learning environment where it’s safe to make mistakes.
A typical lesson involves recall on the previous session’s work, pre-prepared work based on areas you have wished to work on and practice questions to consolidate the learning.
I offer online flexible tutoring periods, usually up to 1 hr per session. Although I specialise in tutoring the AQA GCSE exam board syllabus, I also tutor from years 6 and upwards to include targeted help with entrance exams and everything in between.
