About Kate
I am currently studying for a Masters in Chemistry with Materials and Nanoscience, where I achieved a first grade in my first year.
Having helped children with their studies during high school, I am enthusiastic to continue this through my higher education as I enjoyed seeing my pupils grow and achieve their full potential.
I have always loved teaching, starting with teaching swimming at a young age. I am passionate about passing on knowledge and pushing pupils in order for them to thrive in an environment where they may feel overwhelmed. I hope to instil a driven attitude into my students.

Chemistry is my main passion but I also have to learn maths as part of my course and so feel confident teaching both of these subjects. I can teach chemistry up to degree level and maths to A level standard.
As I am currently in education I feel I can pass on useful revision and exam tips that I actively use. I strive to challenge pupils and get them to question their work in order for them to further their understanding and to hopefully develop an active interest in that subject area.
As someone who found it challenging initially to get into the swing of exams I had to figure out what works for me. Since then I have had no issues. I believe I will be able to find a method that works for every child.
