About Kanyiri
I’m a 3rd year medical student with a passion for Biology and Chemistry — the subjects that inspired me to study Medicine. I achieved top grades at both GCSE and A-level and know the study techniques that help students understand material and excel in exams. I have experience supporting young learners in a variety of roles. As a peer mentor in secondary school, I helped students build confidence and tackle academic challenges. I also volunteered as a Girl Guide leader, planning activities and guiding young people to achieve their goals. At medical school, I act as a “Med Parent” in the Med Families scheme, helping younger students develop effective study habits and revision strategies. I bring patience, organisation, and a structured approach to tutoring, tailoring lessons to each student’s needs to boost both understanding and exam confidence.
