My Teaching Method

My goal as a tutor is to make lessons simple and easy to understand. As an Environmental Science student at TUP-Taguig, I have learned the importance of understanding concepts instead of just memorizing answers. I believe that every student can learn if they are given enough time, proper guidance, and clear explanations.

I adjust my teaching based on the student's needs and learning pace. I use simple words, examples from everyday life, and practice exercises to help students understand their lessons. For Mathematics, I explain each step carefully and show how to solve problems. I also encourage students to ask questions whenever they do not understand something.

A Typical Lesson

I start by reviewing the previous lesson or checking what the student already knows about the topic. Next, I explain the new lesson using simple examples. We then answer practice questions together before allowing the student to try solving problems on their own. At the end of the lesson, we review what they have learned and focus on the parts they still find difficult.

What Makes Me Different as a Tutor

I am patient, approachable, and willing to explain lessons more than once when needed. I understand that not all students learn at the same pace, so I make sure they have enough time to understand each topic. Through my experience teaching young learners during educational outreach activities, I have learned the importance of making lessons interesting and easy to follow. I also encourage students to learn from their mistakes and become more confident in answering questions on their own.

My lessons are suitable for elementary and junior high school students who need help with Mathematics. I can help with basic arithmetic, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and other topics based on the student's grade level. I can also help students review their lessons, practice exercises, and prepare for quizzes and examinations.

My goal is to help students understand their lessons, improve their grades, and feel more confident in their abilities. I want them to see that learning does not have to be difficult when lessons are explained clearly and practiced step by step.
