About Farida

I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate from EPFL, with a strong academic foundation in mathematics, physics, and structured problem-solving. I enjoy helping students move beyond memorizing methods and develop the confidence to understand why a solution works.

My teaching style is patient, clear, and tailored to the student. I break challenging ideas into manageable steps, use practical examples where helpful, and create a supportive space for questions. My goal is for each student to become more independent and confident when solving problems.

I offer online lessons for students needing support with school mathematics and physics, exam preparation, revision, or specific challenging topics. Whether a student wants to strengthen their foundations or aim for higher grades, lessons are adapted to their individual goals and pace.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student’s level, goals, and learning style. I focus on building real understanding rather than memorizing formulas, so students can approach unfamiliar questions with confidence.

In mathematics and physics, we begin by identifying any gaps in the foundations. Then, we work through concepts step by step, using clear explanations, examples, and guided practice. I encourage students to explain their reasoning, because this is the best way to build strong problem-solving skills.

Lessons can support:

School mathematics and physics

GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, and IB preparation

Homework support and revision

Exam practice and time-management strategies

Strengthening weak topics and building confidence

As a Mechanical Engineering graduate from EPFL, I bring a structured and practical approach to teaching. I aim to make challenging topics feel manageable, with a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

Online lessons are interactive and can be adapted for regular weekly support, intensive exam preparation, or help with a specific topic.
