About Skie
I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Equity and Education with a concentration in ESL at university. Over the past four years, I have gained experience through teaching, student teaching, and volunteering at various schools. My passion for working with students stems from my own experiences as a student who initially struggled. With the support of dedicated teachers who took the time to help me, I was able to achieve more than I ever thought possible. My goal is to be that kind of teacher for others, providing support and guidance whenever I can.

As a teacher, it is my responsibility to explain concepts in a way that makes them easier for students to understand. My teaching methods vary, but I prioritize a hands-on approach. I believe that actively engaging in tasks helps students, especially when learning something for the first time.
My lesson plans are typically concise. I start by explaining the material, then encourage students to try it themselves, offering assistance as needed. My lessons cater to children from Early Childhood through Sixth Grade.
