About Lukas
I am an ESL teacher with a diversity of experiences teaching, tutoring, and working in multi-cultural environments. I can speak Spanish and Arabic, and I have worked with students from all over the world in many different settings, from all learning levels. I have worked at a refugee resettlement agency and at several community colleges in Seattle and Los Angeles.

My method of teaching is student based and student driven. I always intend to be personal and make personal connections with my students. I focus on breaking down difficult aspects of the language into smaller pieces that can be understood. I am equally comfortable helping with basic everyday spoken English, with difficult and complex grammar, and with developing writing skills.
