Hello! I’m Teacher Joel, an experienced and passionate English teacher with over 6 years of teaching experience. I help children and adults improve their English speaking, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and confidence.

My lessons are friendly, practical, and tailored to your individual goals. Whether you want to speak English fluently, prepare for work or travel, or simply become more confident in conversations, I’m here to help you enjoy learning and achieve your goals.

About the lesson

I use a student-centered and practical approach to teaching English. My lessons are designed to help students improve their speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and overall confidence in using English in real-life situations.

I adapt my teaching methods to each student's level, goals, age, and learning style. I use conversation practice, guided discussions, articles, videos, role-plays, questions, and real-life situations to make lessons engaging and practical. For beginners and younger learners, I use simple explanations, interactive activities, repetition, and age-appropriate topics. For intermediate and advanced learners, I focus more on fluency, accuracy, pronunciation, vocabulary, and natural communication.

My typical lessons are 25–50 minutes, depending on the student's needs and the type of lesson. I also offer trial lessons where I first identify the student's goals and areas for improvement before creating a suitable learning plan.

I have over 6 years of English teaching experience, both online and in the classroom. I have taught English to Japanese learners and other international students through online platforms, and I have also worked as an English Language teacher in a secondary school in Cameroon. My teaching experience includes conversation English, free talking, general English, business English, and English for children and adults.

My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners, including children, teenagers, university students, and adults. Whether you want to improve your conversational English, prepare for work or travel, communicate more confidently, or simply become more fluent, I will tailor the lessons to your individual goals.
