About Latisha

Hello! I am Latisha a native English speaker and English teacher (ESL/TEFL certified) from the USA (I teach American English). I have teaching experience working with students from different languages, ages, backgrounds, cultures, etc. who live in the USA and abroad. My passion is teaching and sharing my love of the English language with my students and helping them excel in their English learning goals! I teach A1-C2 level English (beginner-advanced). Speaking, accent reduction, grammar, writing, reading, test prep etc. are my specialty. With me you will succeed! Let's begin today! :)

About the lesson

My teaching method is simple because I believe that learning a language is more about using the language in a productive way through a natural interactive approach (not only do I teach my students the English language but I also teach them how to interact with native English speakers in a real-world situation). My students are taught how to be confident in speaking and to use the English language for their personal development, education, career goals, travel, and much more! My focus is that my students can be fluent in English and that they will be able to use what I have taught them in the real world. My lessons are personalized to meet the needs of each student so that they achieve more, learn more effortlessly, and most importantly enjoy each lesson they have with me. I also work very closely with my students to arrange my lessons to fit their busy life and schedule (I understand life is busy and make sure my students get the most learning out of each of my lessons). My 6 personalized packages include: •Basic Package $15/hr: For anyone interested in learning or improving their English skills such as students needing homework help or anyone just getting started learning English as well as someone who wants to refresh their English skills. With this package you will be able to pass your English class, improve your overall English skills, or reconnect with English if it has been a while since you last learned English. Also for added $10 I will help you study for the TOEFL exam. All levels are welcome. •Professional Package $25/hr: For anyone seeking to learn or improve their English skills for career/job purposes and opportunities. This package is carefully designed by me for employers and employees or anyone applying to their dream job to help you achieve these goals in the shortest and most efficient way possible. It includes training in Business English, American interview practice, resumes/cv writing, and speaking skills etc. that you will need to stand out and be confident applying for your next job interview. All levels welcome. •Traveler's Package $13/hour: This package is for anyone taking an international trip to an English-speaking country and wants less stress in their trip for travel/vacation. Includes speaking/conversing skills, hotel and reservations training, restaurant and shopping, American culture and destination spots, and much more! Make that special once-in-a-lifetime trip even more spectacular with your English skills! All levels welcome. •Immigrants Package $22/hr: For anyone who is an immigrant moving to the USA (or other English-speaking country) for school/study, work, or beginning a new life. Includes speaking, writing, reading, introduction to American culture, application training for school/work, etc. All levels welcome and discounts available for family and friends. •ESL/TEFL Teacher Package $30: For new students just getting started obtaining their ESL/TEFL certification and working ESL/TEFL teachers who want to learn new methods and techniques to improve their teaching careers. As a certified ESL/TEFL teacher myself, I am constantly studying and learning new methods, techniques, and approaches for my students that I want to pass on to other ESL/TEFL teachers who share my love of teaching English as a second language.
