In the past 12 years my relationship with Joey has ranged from colleague to roommate to friend. I have watched him grow from a 19 year-old high school graduate figuring out his life to a young man with purpose, passion, and commitment to his goal: to be a professor. All along Joey has remained, at heart, a kind, curious, compassionate person who exudes a warmth that all who know him can't help but feel.
As a colleague in the workforce Joey was reliable and efficient in his work; more importantly, he always did his work with a sense of humor and a smile on his face, as anyone who worked with him will tell you. As a roommate for more than 2 years Joey was easy to live with and trustworthy in terms of financial and personal matters. Through 2 moves, a robbery, and many daily trials and tribulations of living with other humans, Joey was straightforward with difficult issues and quick to compromise, making him an ideal roommate. As a friend Joey has been and still is one of the most loyal and fair people I know. He treats strangers with the same respect and kindness as his friends.
Joey possesses a rare blend of patience, humor, and creativity that make him an ideal candidate to be a teacher. As far as his trustworthiness, loyalty, and character are concerned, I highly recommend Joey Sellers for any professional endeavor he chooses to pursue.
