I have matriculated 15 years ago, I have completed 1 year of my travel and tourism diploma, I am currently a mum of 2 and I have been homeschooling my 8 year old for the past year and I have developed an interest in teaching.

I am a very patient individual, If an aspect is not understood, I do not give up and move on, I try to find 1 or more ways to help you understand it.
I would use visual aids and plan engaging activities, I would do recap sessions from previous lessons, so everything is still fresh and familiar to the student. Learning should be fun, so adding educational games would be a must in my lessons. I would structure my lessons by having students talk about their lives and their day to day routines, so they become familiar with the vocabulary and sentence structure. I would use worksheets, for the students to apply what they have learned. Weekly tests will definitely be conducted, to keep the student abreast with what was thought during the course of the week, and so I as the tutor can understand how well my student has adapted and how much he or she understood. My goal is to ensure that my student achieves 100% understanding in the English vocabulary and I will strive to make it happen.
