About Cliff
Performing and teaching music across 12 years has shaped a specific pedagogical rigor. Across that time, I have guided 60 plus students through the RCM syllabus from Prep A to ARCT with distinction. Graduating from the Cleveland Institute of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Piano gave me the tools to handle varied students.
Whether someone is preparing for college auditions or starting as an adult, I provide the same focus. My career remains anchored in the Boston area where I keep my standards consistent for all learners. I am a specialist who values clear results.

Progress often stalls because students focus on the wrong technical details during practice. True technical fluency begins by isolating scales, arpeggios, and posture rather than just playing through pieces.
We start with a diagnostic playing assessment to establish a concrete learning plan for your goals. The work covers pedalling technique, rhythm, timing, chord voicing, and sight reading.
I integrate music theory and sight playing into every block of instruction. Helping you navigate the complexities of ABRSM or Trinity exams is where I feel most useful. It is a genuine privilege to watch your musicianship evolve through this structured approach.
