Singing serves as a bridge between technical precision and human emotion for me. After 9 years of performing with the Hallé Orchestra and other prominent UK ensembles, I transitioned into a dedicated teaching practice. My work centres on classical vocal production and choral repertoire, drawing from the rigorous discipline of my degree at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Over the past 6 years, I have guided many students through the ABRSM graded ladder with consistent results.
I find profound satisfaction in watching a performer navigate the complexities of their instrument. My approach is rooted in the calm, theatre-fluent standards I maintained during my orchestral career. I focus on developing resonance, clarity, and stamina within a healthy vocal framework. Whether working with performance-focused students, children, or adults, I maintain a focus on clear articulation.
