About Su
I’m an experienced languages teacher with 10 years in UK schools. I studied English Literature and Spanish at King’s College London, completed my PGCE at UCL, trained with Teach First, and completed a behaviour course at the University of Cambridge.
I speak five languages and am hearing-impaired in one ear, so currently I am learning to sign, which has strengthened my understanding of communication and learning.
I build strong rapport with students, keep a good sense of humour, and value open communication with parents so students feel confident and supported to achieve their best.

I teach 11+, English, Spanish, French and Latin through interactive lessons that use proven learning strategies such as retrieval practice and regular quizzing to strengthen memory and build confidence.
Lessons last one hour and focus on clear explanations, active practice and revisiting prior learning.
I have 10 years’ experience teaching in UK schools and now work in senior leadership, alongside tutoring since university.
Lessons are for secondary school students, including GCSE and A-Level, as well as primary school learners building strong foundations in literacy and languages.
