About Luma
My interest in Excel began from curiosity about how digital tools can simplify complex calculations and organize information effectively. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems and have 7 years of teaching experience. Over time, I have helped students improve spreadsheet skills through practical exercises and structured learning methods.
I believe Excel becomes easier when students understand the purpose behind each tool instead of memorizing steps mechanically. My teaching method focuses on practical tasks, real-world examples, and clear explanations to make learning engaging and effective. I encourage students to practice regularly and explore features confidently.
In the long run, my goal is to help students build strong spreadsheet and analytical skills that support success in academics and professional careers. I aim to guide them toward mastering data management, reporting, and organizational techniques. As they grow, they become capable of handling complex datasets and using Excel efficiently in business, administration, finance, and workplace environments where accuracy and organization are essential.

My Excel lessons are designed to help students understand how spreadsheets can be used for organizing, analyzing, and presenting information efficiently. I teach formulas, functions, charts, pivot tables, conditional formatting, sorting, and filtering using step-by-step explanations and practical exercises. Instead of focusing only on features, I help students understand how Excel supports decision making and improves workflow in real situations.
Each lesson is adapted according to the learner’s level. Beginners focus on spreadsheet basics, formatting, and simple calculations. Intermediate learners work on functions, charts, and data organization methods. Advanced learners focus on dashboards, automation basics, and reporting systems. Regular practice exercises help improve speed, accuracy, and confidence while working with data.
In the long run, my goal is to help students become confident Excel users who can manage information professionally and solve practical data-related problems independently. As they progress, they begin understanding how spreadsheets are used in business operations, office management, finance, and academic projects. This builds analytical thinking and strong workplace skills that are highly valuable in modern professional environments.
