About Evangeline
My interest in Excel began when I realised how important data handling and organisation are in everyday work. I completed a Master’s in Data Analytics, where I developed strong skills in data management and analysis. Over the past 8 years, I have worked with students and professionals, helping them learn Excel in a clear and practical way. My experience allows me to guide learners with patience and clarity.
I believe that Excel should be taught through simple explanations and hands-on practice. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down each feature into smaller steps and using real-life examples to make learning easier. I encourage students to ask questions and practise regularly, which helps them build confidence and improve steadily. I also provide continuous support and feedback to ensure effective learning.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring new tools, improving my data skills, and learning advanced Excel features. This helps me keep my lessons updated and useful. Teaching Excel is very meaningful to me because I get to help students build practical skills that they can use in many areas of life. Seeing them grow in confidence and ability is something I truly enjoy every day.

Excel becomes simple when students understand how each tool works and how it connects to real tasks. In my lessons, I teach topics such as data entry, formatting, formulae, functions, and charts using clear and easy explanations. I break each concept into small steps so students can follow without confusion. I also include practical examples like budgeting, tracking data, and creating reports so learners can see how Excel is used in daily situations. Each session is designed to be calm and supportive, helping students feel comfortable while learning and practising new skills at their own pace.
As students progress, lessons become more focused on improving accuracy and efficiency. Beginners start with basic tools, simple formulae, and formatting. Intermediate learners work on functions, charts, and organising data effectively. Advanced learners focus on complex formulae, data analysis, and solving real-world problems. I provide regular practice, guided exercises, and feedback to ensure steady improvement. This approach helps students understand not just how to use Excel, but also how to apply it confidently.
Learning Excel also helps students develop logical thinking and organisation skills. As they improve, they become faster and more confident in handling data. These skills are useful in both academic and professional environments. My goal is to make Excel simple, practical, and useful so students feel confident using it in real-life tasks and future opportunities.
