About Iris
My interest in Excel began with exploring how spreadsheets could simplify complex data and enhance decision-making. I earned a B.Sc in Information Systems and an M.Sc in Data Analytics, gaining expertise in data management, visualization, and analytical techniques. Over 8 years, I have guided learners in mastering Excel, from fundamental skills to advanced analytics, supporting academic, professional, and personal development.
I teach with patience, clarity, and a focus on practical application. Lessons combine step-by-step instruction, real-life examples, and hands-on practice, ensuring students understand the rationale behind each function and technique. I emphasize critical thinking, problem-solving, and confidence-building, empowering students to work independently and effectively with data.
Outside the classroom, I engage in data analysis projects, advanced modeling, and research on business intelligence tools, bringing real-world relevance into my teaching. Watching students progress from basic understanding to advanced proficiency, and seeing their confidence and efficiency grow, is immensely rewarding. Supporting learners in harnessing Excel to achieve their goals is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work.
