About Homi
With 9 years of experience in violin teaching, I have helped many students learn and improve their musical skills. I teach school students, college learners, and working professionals, guiding them through every stage of their learning journey. My teaching philosophy is based on clarity, patience, and regular practice.
I believe that learning violin should be simple, engaging, and enjoyable. I begin with strong basics such as posture, bowing technique, finger placement, and note reading. As students improve, I introduce advanced lessons and help them develop better tone and expression.
I use structured lessons and practical exercises to make learning effective. I have successfully taught more than 150 students, many of whom have gained confidence and performed in events. I maintain a supportive and motivating learning environment. My aim is to help students build both skill and confidence.

My teaching approach is designed to make violin learning smooth, structured, and easy to follow. I use real-life examples and demonstrations to explain musical ideas so students can clearly understand and apply them. I focus on essential skills such as posture, finger placement, bow control, and scales to build a strong technical base.
I follow a gradual learning method and ensure students gain clarity at every step. I also personalise my lessons according to each student’s level and learning goals. Communication plays a key role in my teaching, and I encourage students to interact openly.
I provide clear guidance and regular feedback to support their progress. I follow honesty, patience, and commitment. Along with violin, I also teach music theory, ear training, rhythm exercises, and performance techniques.
