As a native Italian, born and raised in Italy, I aim to bring my students as close as possible to the Italian language and culture. Here's how I approach teaching:
1. **Teaching Methodology:** I believe in teaching language as a living, evolving entity, and my approach reflects that. I integrate traditional methods like grammar exercises and vocabulary training with more interactive techniques, such as role-playing, multimedia content, and even virtual Italian "field trips." I aim to create a fun, immersive learning environment where students don't just learn Italian, but experience it.
2. **Lesson Length:** My lessons typically span an hour, ensuring a balance between learning and assimilation. However, I am flexible and can adapt the duration according to each student's convenience and learning pace.
3. **Qualifications/Experience:** I'm a native Italian speaker who's lived in Italy my entire life. I've informally tutored friends and acquaintances, and I've gained a reputation for making Italian an easy and enjoyable language to learn. My real-world knowledge of Italian culture and daily life offers a unique advantage that textbook learning can't provide.
4. **Target Audience:** My lessons are tailored to accommodate a wide range of learners – from beginners intrigued by the Italian language, to intermediate learners aiming to hone their skills, to advanced students striving for fluency. My students can be of any age; I believe it's never too early or too late to embrace a new language!
