I am a retired teacher who taught Afrikaans for 38 years from Gr8 to Gr12 on high school level.

My teaching method is very interactive. Firstly l start with an ice breaker to make mu students feel at ease. I will then explain the subject matter whereby l will continuously involve the students by either ask for their opinions or by oral questions and answers to keep the communication flowing. It gives me an opportunity to assess the success of my lesson if learners engage and participate verbally .
