I’m passionate about helping young learners discover the joy of learning a new language. I have a strong background in Spanish and a deep understanding of how to teach it in a way that’s engaging and accessible for elementary and middle school students. My approach is centered on creating a fun, interactive learning environment where students feel encouraged to participate and take risks with their language skills. As someone who has navigated challenging academic environments, I understand the importance of personalized learning and patience. About the lesson

As a Spanish tutor for elementary and middle school students, my teaching method is centered on interactive and engaging learning. I focus on making language acquisition fun and accessible by incorporating games, songs, stories, and visual aids. I believe in the importance of immersion, so I encourage students to use Spanish as much as possible during our sessions. I also emphasize the practical use of the language, ensuring that students can apply what they learn in real-life situations.

A Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson plan is structured but flexible to cater to the student's progress:

Warm-Up (5-10 minutes): We begin with a brief review of the previous lesson or a quick game to get the student thinking in Spanish.

Introduction of New Material (15-20 minutes): I introduce new vocabulary, phrases, or grammatical concepts through interactive activities, such as flashcards, storytelling, or role-playing.

Practice (15-20 minutes): The student practices the new material through guided exercises, conversations, or games that reinforce the lesson's content.

Review and Homework Assignment (5-10 minutes): We recap what was learned, address any questions, and I assign a small homework task that could be a worksheet, a short writing task, or a fun activity to keep the learning going between sessions.
