About Ben
My name is Ben and I scored 3290 (2470 in new money) on the UCAT in 2021, placing me comfortably in the top 1% of all test takers. I got A*A*A*A* in my A-levels, and I was accepted to study Medicine at multiple top schools, including Cambridge and UCL. I help students boost their UCAT scores and secure interviews at their dream medical schools. I will work with you to understand exactly how YOU approach different problems, and help you to optimise your strategy to maximise your score. I emphasise active participation during our lessons in order to reinforce techniques, and ensure that you are as prepared as possible come test day.

The UCAT is a test of thinking skills, so working with a specialist tutor who has a deep understanding of the test’s various components and a proven track record of success can help you elevate your score to the next level. Precisely because the UCAT is a test of thinking skills, there is no one-size-fits-all solution to improving your score. In our lessons I’ll guide you through some problems, breaking down my thinking to first principles, and then I’ll pass the torch over to you and seek to understand exactly how you approach the different sub-sections, and we’ll work together to identify and correct any errors or inefficiencies in your approach.
