About Lea

I achieved 89% for Afrikaans in Matric and am familiar with the Cambridge curriculum as well. I speak English and Afrikaans at home however, I believe attention to minor details in the Afrikaans language will help you master it.

I am a highly professional and confident tutor, with a proven track record of helping students achieve their goals. My extensive knowledge and experience in Afrikaans language and culture, combined with my ability to connect with students, instills confidence and helps to establish credibility.

I have a passion for teaching and am dedicated to delivering quality lessons that are engaging, relevant, and effective. My skills in active listening, communication, and adapting to the needs of each student, have made me an effective and successful tutor. I am confident in my abilities to help students of all levels and backgrounds to achieve their full potential and improve their Afrikaans language skills.

About the lesson

My Afrikaans lessons are unique because I approach teaching the language in a personalized and engaging manner. I understand that everyone learns at a different pace and in different ways, so I adapt my lessons to meet the individual needs of each student.

My focus is not just on grammar and vocabulary, but also on real-life communication, so that students can confidently use Afrikaans in their daily lives. I also incorporate cultural elements and current events to make the lessons enjoyable and relevant. With my unique approach, students will not only improve their language skills but also gain a deeper appreciation for the Afrikaans culture.

Lastly, each lesson will end with personalised notes on each topic!
